Volunteer Opportunities

Join us for a quarterly work party.  Groups or individuals are needed to help us paint, build fences, construct a wall mural, and plant flowers. 

Assist in the preparation of mailings.  Communicating with our supporters, clients, and partners is vital to Kinship House operations.  Help is routinely needed in the designing, printing and collating of mailing materials.  Even having one or two extra pairs of hands makes all the difference. 

Become a Board Member.  Join a terrific team of ten who lead our mission!  Meetings are once a month.  There are also opportunities to participate in a subcommittee or special project.  Please call 503.460.2796 x.11 to reach our Executive Director for more information. 

Volunteer at Our Children’s Store.  Kinship House is a participating agency of this unique, seasonal retail store benefiting children’s agencies throughout the metro area.  Each year, volunteers are needed to set up the store, help customers find what they’re looking for, cashier, disassemble the store, and serve on the steering committee.  The store is open from September through December each year.  Please see the OCS website for further details at http://www.ourchildrensstore.org.
